From Production to Delivery
Not sure where to start your project? Have questions about the ordering process or delivery? We’ve compiled the most frequently asked questions—from the design stage to production, from printing techniques to logistics. You can quickly find the information you’re looking for and rely on us at every step of the process.
Products and Production Process
Rigid laminated cardboard boxes, plastic-hinged boxes, MDF boxes and displays, desktop organizers with faux leather stitching or lamination, paper bags, corrugated cardboard e-commerce boxes, as well as special inserts made of EVA, foam, or cardboard. Our production scope also includes certificate boxes, labels, and ribbons as complementary elements.
Primarily jewelry, cosmetics, textiles/accessories, stationery, and promotional products. We also manufacture for home textiles, giftware, and lifestyle brands.
In the initial meeting, we finalize project details, dimensions, and quantities. Technical drawings are then prepared, selected materials are defined, and pricing is determined based on this information. Depending on the project requirements, a sample may be produced, and after approval, preparations are completed and production begins. At every stage of manufacturing, our quality control team performs measurements, adhesion/coating checks, and visual inspections; any deviations are corrected immediately. Finished products are securely boxed and palletized for shipment. Thanks to this end-to-end control and traceability, consistency in both delivery times and quality is ensured.
All our production takes place at our modern facility in the Çaybaşı district of Ordu, covering 10,000 m², under the assurance of GIPTA Group.
We use materials such as rigid cardboard, plastic, MDF, paperboard, and corrugated cardboard. Material selection is made according to the project’s function, industry requirements, and brand expectations.
Yes. If you provide a physical sample or share precise dimensions, material, and color details along with reference photos, we can produce an exact replica. If the same material or accessory cannot be sourced, we propose equivalent alternatives that preserve the look and performance. If necessary, we prepare a final production sample before mass production for your approval. Any new die/tooling requirements and minimum order quantities are clearly stated at the quotation stage.
Depending on requirements, we offer offset and digital printing. Offset printing ensures color consistency in high-volume runs, while digital printing is ideal for proofs and short runs. For branding and effects, we apply hot foil stamping with metallic, pigment, or holographic finishes; embossing or debossing for tactile emphasis; and screen printing for opaque and intense colors on special surfaces. For surface protection and appearance, we use matte, glossy, or soft-touch lamination, matte or gloss varnish, as well as spot UV and textured finishes.
Design and Sampling Process
Yes. When you share your needs and goals, we work with you to shape the project and propose packaging solutions tailored to your brand identity, product protection requirements, budget, and timeline. Together, we finalize structural design, material and surface options, as well as printing and accessory decisions. If necessary, we prepare a white or visual sample to make the project production-ready and support you at every step from design to manufacturing.
Yes. From logo and visual placements to color matching, we adapt your design to your brand identity, ensuring accurate color results with Pantone matching. We carry out all pre-print checks, prepare your files for production, and, if needed, manage the approval process with proofs. If you are working with your own agency, we clarify the technical requirements, coordinate the process together, and ensure flawless print outputs in the final stage.
Yes, we provide sampling services depending on the project type. There are three main options:
The final production sample is usually provided free of charge after order confirmation; if requested beforehand, die, proof printing, and tooling costs may apply. We particularly recommend it for non-standard projects and large orders; depending on the project scope, you may proceed with only one of these options.
Sample production depends on the project type. White samples and quick samples (digitally printed or laser-cut) are free of charge. If a final production sample is requested before order confirmation, die and proof printing costs are applied; after order confirmation, the final sample is provided free of charge.
Order and Quotation Process
For rigid cardboard boxes and paper bags, the minimum order quantity (MOQ) generally ranges between 1,000–3,000 pieces, depending on size, material, printing, and labor intensity. For plastic-hinged boxes with standard molds and sizes, the MOQ is typically around 1,000 pieces; for projects requiring custom injection molds, the MOQ is higher depending on mold investment and part geometry. For jewelry organizers, the MOQ ranges from 500–1,000 pieces depending on the model and accessories. In some cases, lower quantities may be technically possible across all categories; however, unit costs increase and additional expenses such as die/mold costs may apply.
You can fill out the “Request a Quote” form on our website or send your project details and visuals directly to info@giptapackaging.com
For the fastest and most accurate quotation, please use the checklist provided on the Request a Quote page. Simply share details such as dimensions, material, printing, inserts/dividers, accessories, packaging, and target quantity. If available, you can also attach drawings, photos, or technical files on the same page. Leave any fields blank if you’re unsure—our team will guide you to the right solution.
Quotations are typically valid for 7 business days. Due to fluctuations in raw material prices and exchange rates, updates may be required after this period.
Once the technical specifications and pricing are finalized—along with design approval if necessary (including samples)—your order is confirmed upon receipt of the advance payment. At that stage, production planning begins and your project enters manufacturing.
Delivery and Logistics Process
For standard products, the production lead time is generally 3–4 weeks after approvals and advance payment. For custom projects or high-volume orders, the timeframe may extend to 4–8 weeks. The exact delivery schedule is provided in writing at the time of order confirmation.
Our default delivery term is FOB Istanbul. Upon request, alternative terms such as EXW, CIP, CPT, or DAP can also be quoted.
Yes. We can manage end-to-end shipping and export operations with our logistics partners. Alternatively, if you prefer to work with your own forwarder, we can coordinate the process according to your chosen delivery term.
Yes. You may arrange collection with your own forwarder either from our factory (EXW) or from the FOB loading point. We provide package dimensions/weights, HS codes, and loading details, and coordinate the scheduling together with you.
Yes. We provide standard documents such as the commercial invoice, packing list, and other required paperwork. If necessary, we also prepare supporting documents such as the Certificate of Origin, bill of lading instructions, and FSC declarations.
Sustainability and Quality Certificates
Yes. Our up-to-date list of certificates and their scope can be found on the “Our Certificates” page.
Our core policies include the use of FSC®-certified paper/board, preference for recyclable materials, waste separation at source, layout optimization to reduce scrap, and process management focused on energy and resource efficiency.
Yes. We minimize waste through CAD-based die layouts, maximize efficiency with standard sheet sizes and batch cutting plans, and reuse offcuts for samples, prototypes, or internal filling purposes. Remaining materials are sorted and sent to licensed recycling channels.
Incoming quality control includes verifying dimensions, grammage, and color accuracy of materials. During production, measurements, adhesion/coating checks, and visual inspections are conducted after each process stage. For color management, we use Pantone/ICC references and density measurement, while maintaining traceability records for every batch. This end-to-end system ensures consistency in both deadlines and quality.
